American Lung Association-Oregon: Lots of healthy information on pulmonary topics such as emphysema, smoking cessation, asthma camps, as well as plenty of other links. The national organization American Lung Association also has an extensive web site.
American Medical Association: This new and improved site is now referred to as Medem. An interactive web page with lots of information about specific diseases (pulmonary & otherwise) as well as healthy living ideas, an atlas of the body, risk assessment calculators & more.
Chronic Lung Diseases Information Resources: Little original information but has some useful links for patients with COPD, asthma, various interstitial lung diseases, and respiratory infections.
DrKoop.com: A web site full of information on a wide array of health topics. There are pages dedicated to specific diseases such as chronic bronchitis, smoking cessation, asthma, COPD, sleep apnea & many more. There are also regularly updated headline news articles on important health topics. Check this one out.

HealthWeb: no real content but does have a reasonably well organized list of health related links.
MerckMedicus.com: A relatively comprehensive site sponsored by the pharmaceutical giant Merck. Fortunately they left the advertising out and filled it with useful drug, disease, and assorted medical information. There is a required sign up process, but for now it is free.
National Jewish Medical Center: A national referral center for pulmonary & immunologic diseases. There is an large web site with various information on a wide number of common & rare diseases. See information sheets on MAI Pulmonary Disease, asthma, vocal cord dysfunction syndrome, tuberculosis, pulmonary fibrosis & a variety of interstitial lung diseases just for starters.
NOAH: Sites cover a broad range of health topics, although the quality and content of each page varies considerably. Original content, if present, is generally very good although some of the information gets a bit dated. Most pages have extensive directories of other Web resources.
WebMD: Consistently the one of the most visited health-related web site. I'm not sure why, however, as this doesn't offer anything terribly unique.
